Can You See Me

Through our Can You See Me campaign, we aim to make a meaningful impact by addressing stigma and offering therapy to over 200 traumatized girls. By creating safe spaces for open discussions to help break taboos around child sexual abuse and encourage access to essential health services.

Sierra Leone, with 80% of its population under 35, faces challenges in adolescence, particularly for girls in disadvantaged communities dealing with issues like child marriage, pregnancy, FGM, and sexual abuse. Startling statistics reveal that a significant percentage of young girls are affected, emphasizing the urgent need for intervention.

Our targeted approach focuses on young girls, their families, and high-prevalence communities in rural Sierra Leone, aiming to deliver peer-to-peer support through a 2-day residential program for the 200 girls in greatest need.
