Supporting Youth-Led Movements: Advocacy Network for Girls Sierra Leone Parliament.

As part of this commitment, we have worked closely with the Advocacy Network for Girls Sierra Leone Parliament (ANGSLP) to support their organizational growth and visibility.

Our support has included rebranding, strategic guidance, and the development of a dedicated website and social media platforms, enabling the girls’ parliament to clearly communicate its mission, achievements, and advocacy priorities.

Beyond digital and branding support, A Girl At A Time Sierra Leone has also coached and mentored young members on leadership, confidence, and public representation.

This work focused on helping girls understand how to speak on behalf of other young people, engage safely and confidently in public life, and participate meaningfully in advocacy spaces at community and national levels.

We also supported girls’ participation in national and international advocacy efforts, including engagement in campaigns calling for the protection of girls’ rights and the elimination of harmful practices such as female genital mutilation (FGM).

Through this approach, girls were not positioned as beneficiaries, but as active advocates and leaders shaping conversations that affect their lives.

This partnership reflects A Girl At A Time Sierra Leone’s wider mission: to invest in grassroots, youth-led initiatives, strengthen their leadership, and ensure that girls’ voices are visible, respected, and influential in decision-making spaces.
