EDUCATION.

In complimenting the government of Sierra Leone’s ambitious flagship program of Free Quality Education as a social enterprise organization we are determination to bring the right support to frontline professionals in promoting great tools needed in identifying risks groups such as victims of violence.

We believe in brining the right access and resources to those working on the frontline will enable, encourage and empowered them to protect and safeguard women and girls from violence.

ADVOCACY.

Advocacy is something that we take very seriously, we are working to make a positive impact amongst survivors of violence such as female genital mutilation, child marriage, rape and other forms of abuse.

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with the challenge tackling gender based violence in countries and communities where there are no immediate response to preventing the violence.

PARTNERSHIP WORKING.

At A Girl At A Time, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in partnership working in tackling sexual and gender based violence by supporting organizations tackling such issues.

Support is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation we believe we can facilitate progress in this area.

​Since 2019 A Girl at A Time has supported various organizations in the UK and Sierra Leone like the Hawa Trust UK, Girls Empowerment Sierra Leone, Wi Gial Pikin Dem, Senava Project, Uman4Uman and Better Life Foundation.

In working with communities affected by gender based violence our main goal is to promote greater understanding of the impact violence has on victims and survivors.

Helping communities find solutions within to help end all forms of violence against women and girls.

We strongly believe with access to the right resources, communities can become confidence in reporting incidents of violence and potential risk to their children.
